Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! We are proud to share that this is Azusa High's 70th year of educating the Azusa community. Last year, California recognized AHS as an exemplary dual enrollment program with a 2 year and 4 year community college program on site. We are proud of our 3 national distinguished career academies, our silver medal recognition for our advanced placement program, the awards our art students consistently earn year after year, and the CIF banners that our athletic teams have been earning over the years.

With Azusa High's schedule we are able to offer expanded electives and support courses to students so they have an opportunity to develop their talents and passion in courses like Student Union, sculpture, painting, and theater. We want to remind parents of other vital programs and supports that make Azusa a great place to learn and grow: a 4 year AVID program, 18 Advanced Placement Courses, 6 academic counselors, an onsite social worker, a vibrant THINK Together after school and before school program, and an outstanding community school team that is really leveraging the voice of parents and community partners in improving our campus community and sense of belonging.

Azusa High School is a great place because of our students, parents, faculty and staff. The dedication that our team brings to shaping our students into successful young adults is a joy to see daily. It is a privilege to serve the community of Azusa and witness the accomplishments that this next generation of Aztecs will earn.
