Our School

Principal's Message
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! We are proud to share that this is Azusa High's 69th year of educating the Azusa community. This year we aim to continue building upon our successes from the last few years: Nationally recognized career pathways, a thriving Early College Program with nearly 300 students working on college credits while enrolled in high school, a thriving arts program with award winning visual and performing artists, and a competitive athletic program in which many of our teams compete annually in CIF.
With Azusa High's 4 by 4 bell schedule we are able to offer expanded electives and support courses to students so they have an opportunity to develop their talents in courses like journalism, sculpture, student leadership, and dance. Thanks to voter support for Proposition 28, Azusa High will have a complete theater arts program and new visual and performing art opportunities to choose from.
In addition to expanded arts and elective offerings, we want to remind parents of other vital programs and supports that make Azusa a great place to learn and grow: a 4 year AVID program, 18 Advanced Placement Courses, a new mandarin program starting this year, 5 career pathways (Distinguished Medical Academy, Distinguished Engineering Academy, Model Computer Science, Graphic Arts Academy, and Auomotive), Dual Enrollment courses available in our career pathways, a peer mediation program, 6 academic counselors, an on site social worker, a thriving after school program provided by Think Togeher, and amazing school food that our students love!
The student and family experience at Azusa High School will continue to develop with theme weeks, months, and activities in partnership with student and parent leaders. Azusa High School is a great place because of our students and parents. We look forward to the upcoming school year and the expansion of the work with student clubs such as the LA County recognized Azusa Student Union and the pride that our ASB student leaders display on campus. We are proud of what we have accomplished as one school and we continue to see a bright future for our Aztecs!
Sincerely,
